Quests (Q-T)

Quests are listed in alphabetical order and have been organized into subgroups to make locating them faster and easier. For each quest, I have provided a walk-through, information on the location to start the quest, and a summary of the money/items/Quest Points you will receive as a reward upon completion. Additionally, I have included a list of Items Required for each quest. This is especially helpful if you like to have your supplies on hand ahead of time, and it should prevent a lot of running back and forth. These lists do not, however, make mention of "quest-only" items such as those provided to you by NPCs during the course of the quest, as you do not have to worry about gathering these beforehand.

Please note that this section of the website DOES NOT include mini-game quests (Ant Hills, Sandcastle Moats, Paintings, etc.). These can be found instead under the Mini-Games heading on the navigation menu.

Rocco Shale's New Rock Shop Sign

  • Location: Rock Isle
  • Items Required: Agate (x50),   Iron Ore (x50),   Ebony Log (x10)
  • Reward: 300 Quest Points,   $15,000,   Diamond (x2)

Start the quest by speaking to Rocco Shale, the owner of the rock shop on Rock Isle. Ask him if he has any projects he could use your help with, and he will tell you that he is working on a design for a new sign to place outside his shop. Rocco will ask you to bring his design plans to Smiddy Jones, the blacksmith on Jungle Isle.

Show Rocco's plans to Smiddy, who will ask you to gather the supplies he'll need to make the sign. You will need to collect 50 Agates and 50 Iron Ores, then hand them over to Smiddy. For the frame of the sign, Smiddy will send you to speak to Xamba the woodworker, who lives on the westernmost "lobe" of Jungle Isle.

Xamba will ask you to bring him 10 Ebony Logs in order to make the wooden frame and post for Rocco's sign. Give Xamba the lumber he needs, then take the finished wooden pieces back to Smiddy for the final assembly.

Lastly, bring the completed sign back to Rocco in order to finish the quest.

Robin's Lost Trinket

*You must first complete the quest, Demetrius' Poetry Woes*
  • Location: Rider Isle
  • Items Required: none
  • Reward: 50 Quest Points,   $5,000,   Dinosaur Bone, Mouse or Seashell Necklace

After you have helped Demetrius with his writer's block, return to Robin the elf in his willow tree home east of Witherton. If you've forgotten Robin's location, you can find him by using your shovel to dig in the spot indicated to the left. Ask Robin how he's doing, and he will tell you that he's been worried about having misplaced his wishing box. Offer to help find it for him, and he will inform you that he last had it near a rock in the forest above his home.

Exit Robin's tree and head north into Bridle Forest. Toward the eastern edge of the woods, you will see a large boulder surrounded several smaller rock piles, as seen below. Search the rock piles here until you locate Rose, a beautiful maiden. She wanders a bit, but shouldn't be too hard to track down. Once you've found her, ask if she has seen Robin's magical trinket lying around - she will tell you that she has and will gladly return it to you.

Take the wishing box back to Robin, who will be so grateful that he allows you to use the box to wish for your choice of a reward. You can pick either a Dinosaur Bone, a Mouse companion, or a Seashell Necklace. Choose whichever one you like in order to complete the quest.

He will send you to Paradise Isle where you will find Marisole in her cabin. Give the harp to Robin's crush and she will hand over a thank-you note for you to bring back to him. Take the note to Robin and hand it over with Marisole's complementsin order to complete the quest.

The first person you should speak to is Reuben the clown, who will tell you that he saw a little boy leading Apples earlier in the day. Reuben will also suggest that you travel into the forest just east of Appleton in order to pay a visit to Faustus, who might know which direction the pair went.

Unfortunately for you, Faustus will refuse to tell you anything until you've given him some apple pie, which you will have to retrieve from Sabella in order to proceed. Properly bribed, Faustus will finally inform you that he saw a boy called Elliott leading an appaloosa into the meadow below his house.
