Quests (A-D)

Quests are listed in alphabetical order and have been organized into subgroups to make locating them faster and easier. For each quest, I have provided a walk-through, information on the location to start the quest, and a summary of the money/items/Quest Points you will receive as a reward upon completion. Additionally, I have included a list of Items Required for each quest. This is especially helpful if you like to have your supplies on hand ahead of time, and it should prevent a lot of running back and forth. These lists do not, however, make mention of "quest-only" items such as those provided to you by NPCs during the course of the quest, as you do not have to worry about gathering these beforehand.

Please note that this section of the website DOES NOT include mini-game quests (Ant Hills, Sandcastle Moats, Paintings, etc.). These can be found instead under the Mini-Games heading on the navigation menu.

A Comfortable Sleep for Bess

Agree to fulfill her rather specific request and then head off to Shellton on Turtle Isle to speak with Barb Sower.

Barb will agree to make a pillow for you, but will need you to bring her Parafin Wax, Beeswax and 50 feathers. Parafin Wax can be purchased from Phoebe Wares in the Shellton General store for $500. For the Beeswax, find Evelynn in Wington on Bird Isle, who will sell you what you need for another $500. However, you can skip this step as it is possible to find the skates without the unnecessary detour.

Just as before, speak to Falcor any time you are ready to move on to the next Neverending Isle in the chain.

Demetrius' Poetry Woes

  • Location: Witherton (Rider Isle)
  • Items Required: none
  • Reward: 50 Quest Points,   $15,000

Start the quest by talking to Demetrius, a long-winded poet who lives in Witherton on Rider Isle. Demetrius is suffering from a bit of writer's block, and will ask you to help him finish his latest poem about the willow tree just east of his house.

First, he will ask you what kind of emotion the tree should have. Suggest that it shouldbe a sad tree. Next, he will want your opinion on a setting for the poem. Tell him that the tree should be beside a lake in an enchanted forest. Lastly, he will want you to help him come up with a name for the tree and will insist that you step outside and scout around the willow for "inspiration."

Inspiration, as it turns out, is an elf named Robin, who lives beneath the trunk of the willow. You can find him wandering near the tree, or you can use your shovel at the spot indicated to talk to him instantly. Explain to Robin what your purpose is in coming, and he'll give you a few suggestions for a name. Return to Demetrius, tell him to name the tree "Mirr," and he will offer you a reward for all of your help.

Your next objective will be to speak to Ruthie on HalfHaven Isle. She will tell you that she remembers an old riddle that was carved into a tree on the island before she came to live on it. Follow Ruthie's clue by traveling across the nearby bridge onto Haven Isle, and then head north. You will find clue #5 by using your Magnifying Glass in the spot indicated by the image to the right.

Your final stop will be Desert Isle. When you arrive, travel directly south of Hotton until you find Pyramid #4. Stand on the right side of the Pyramid and use your Magnifying Glass to find your last clue. From there, head a few paces to the east where you will find an oasis.
